Welcome to a new tradition at Oak Ridge that is sure to benefit your children. We hope that with your generosity, many books may be made available to our students that would not be available otherwise.
We are so fortunate to have such wonderful book lovers at Oak Ridge. Due to the increasing cost of children’s books, however, it is prohibitive to purchase the multiple copies and new copies of much-loved authors and series that student demand calls for. Please consider this opportunity to make a lasting contribution to the Oak Ridge Media Center by donating a book in your child’s name.
Here is how you can donate a book: 1. Select title(s) from the list and fill out the order form. Lists and forms are available in the Media Center or by clicking on the following links, which open as Word documents: Wish List Fall 2011 Order Form Fall 2011 2. Make your check out to Oak Ridge School and return the form and check to Miss Bromann or Mrs. Bidochka 3. A permanent nameplate will go into each book with your child’s name and the year. Your child will be the first to have the pleasure of checking the book out of the library.
Thank You! Occasionally, families like to donate gently used books from home. We will consider hardcover books only (no paperbacks or softcovers) as additions to our collection, and we reserve the right to pass them along to classroom libraries or other book donation programs as we see fit. Thank you for your kindess and cooperation!
